The Journey Begins - Journey to Pascha in the Orthodox Christian Church

We begin our journey by exploring the history of our modern Paschal traditions in the Orthodox Christian faith. The entire Paschal season, through Lent, Holy Week, and Pascha, is rich with meaning and symbolism as we relive the events leading up to Christ’s passion. This video is part of a series named “Journey to Pascha“ by the Department of Religious Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The events of Holy Week and Pascha comprise the very heart of the Orthodox Christian faith. These presentations explore the history, traditions, services, and their meanings, of this central period.
