Trump’s Son-in-Law Jared Kushner Signs Deal With Serbian Government To Build Luxury Complex

The Serbian government has approved a contract with Donald Trump’s son-in-law to build a luxury hotel on the site of the former defence ministry in Belgrade. This means Jared Kushner will be directly in business with the Balkan state as Trump is looking to return to the White House. The Serbian government says it chose a well respectable American company as a partner to revitalise the site which was bombed by the US-led NATO campaign during Serbia’s war with Kosovo in 1999. However, as Katarina Petrovic reports from Belgrade, many Serbs are not happy with Kushner’s plans for their city.
