1 Peter 5 - Cast All Your Care || Bible in Song || Project of Love

Almost 5 years ago now I gave my life to Papa. After having lived a crazy life, jaded and dead tired from 20 years of severe depression and the addictions that had hollowed me out. I was lost. Beat. Broken. At the end of my self. Desperately looking for a way out and death seemed like sweet relief to me. The great nothingness, no more feelings, no more pain. Or so I thought.. In 2018 I was on suicide watch. Meaning, people around me didn’t trust me with my life .. One night I stumbled on a video of a blind priest on Youtube. He had documented over NDE’s (near death experiences). That video got me thinking. And one night when I just couldn’t take it anymore, I cried out to God: if You’re there, then take my mess, my life, everything I got, cause I can’t deal with it. It’s too much. And I violently kicked it over to Him. This big, black ball of my mess. That same instant I was drowned in an overwhelming Peace I had never ever felt or experienced before. And instantly I knew, this is God. He is real (!) And in that same moment I was freed from 20 years of depression. Like a 30 ton building had been lifted off of me. Back to 1 Peter 5. Back then I didn’t know about 1 Peter 5 verse 7. In the Greek it says: ’having cast.’ I love that! It’s not politely giving your worries, your anxiety, your past or mess to Him. It’s CAST! 🔥 Cause you wanna get rid of the thing, right!? You wanna distance yourself from it ASAP. So you cast it, or in my case, kick it! 😉 And in doing so, you’re giving your heavenly Daddy the message: I don’t want it, I want you to have it. The sooner the better. Cause I know you can handle this SO much better than I can. Now, once you’ve done that, you’ll probably worry again over the same stuff. That’s ok, as long as you cast it over to Him again. Make a big ball of it all and cast or kick it over to Him. Both will work 😉🙏 --- EVERY FRIDAY A NEW SONG! Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. 7. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. 10. So after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. 11.
