THE FRIDGE IS RED | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

With Halloween just around the corner it is that time of the year again where horror games are released! The Fridge is Red is a horror anthology game that gained some attention during their earlier released demos. The Fridge provides six different stories and games that focus on a particular gameplay style and horror trope. From finding hidden objects while keeping your gaze at the enemy to navigating a confusing maze within a hospital or avoiding enemies in a cornfield. It is all presented in a style that is reminiscent of the PSX and PlayStation 1 era of gaming. The different gameplay mechanics were nice, but I did think that the quality and entertainment with each chapter differed quite a lot. Where some chapters were quite engaging and suspenseful, I could not help but be a bit bored with others. Nevertheless, I loved that the Fridge itself often made an appearance or cameo like it was an inanimate Hitchcock. There is definitely more room for stories to be told within this Fridge universe. #th
