Beauregarde - Beauregarde 1971 (USA, Blues Rock/Rhythm & Blues) Full Album

One day, a professional wrestler from the 70s nicknamed Beauregarde (real name Larry Pitchford) decided to release his solo record. His wrestling career began in 1963, and by 1970 he had become one of the biggest names in Pacific Northwest Wrestling (PNW, a generic name for professional wrestling companies whose style of wrestling is a cross between boxing, wrestling and presentation). He was known for his unique wrestling moves and the crazy stage personas he created for himself. He found historical figures whose birthdays fell on match days and portrayed them during matches and interviews. Known for his loud music when entering the ring (later using his own music), he was one of the most truly intimidating and charismatic wrestlers of his time. In 1971, he released an album named after his stage name, Beauregarde, with Greg Sage of the Wipers on guitar. Beauregarde recruited Sage (then 17) after hearing him play guitar in a friend’s band at Sound Productions in Portland. Tracks: 01. I Got Something - 00:00 02. Super Star Super Star - 03:20 03.
