Violent protests spread across France over police shooting of teenager

Unrest and rioting spread across France during a second night of protests over the fatal police shooting of a 17-year-old boy during a traffic stop. Subscribe to Guardian News on YouTube ► Protesters launched fireworks at police, set cars ablaze and torched public buildings in the suburbs around Paris and in towns across France. In Mons-en-Barœul, northern France, the town hall was set on fire and the mayor said parts of it had been ’totally destroyed’. The president, Emmanuel Macron, held a crisis meeting to discuss the unrest which led to the arrest of at least 150 people overnight.
