Ancient Torment / Haxen - The Howling Gale (full split, 2023)

It is my honour to deliver you a new Eternal Death release, in advance of its full release this Friday, 4th August; a mighty split between two Rhode Island bands channelling Finnish filth and old school Norse winds through Atlantic chilled USBM. With a scorched air of maliciously atmospheric, spitefully melodic orthodoxy, Ancient Torment open this split with two tracks of vehement opposition to Christian Nationalism, eviscerating the oppressors with fiery resistance. Then on to Haxen’s three tracks; a trinity of unholy reverence to basement fidelity headbanging captured on beer-soaked fourtracks; the must of cracked leather and the smell of 1995 seeping through these scornfully executed riffs. Eternal Death release the album on digital and CD formats this Friday 4th: Timeworn Records will be releasing a cassette tape version in the near future.
