Sansula bonus techniques On the Sansula thumb piano, I have unlocked a series of techniques previously unexplored that I have dubbed “the Bonus Technique“ which allows the instrument to become a complete instrument (meaning instead of only being capable of rich warm notes unaccompanied by other sounds, now is capable of creating chords and harmony with rhythmic accompaniment at the same time on the tiny playing surface) . This is the first video in what will be a series showcasing my new Bonus Techniques on the Sansula like, Drumming, Thumping, Raking, Muting, Palming, Rolls, Up-Flicks, Tine-Pops, Brushes and more. The Sansula instrument has traditionally been used to create beautiful rich, notes with the frame drum used solely to amplify the notes as well as create a lush “wah-wah“ effect but the instrument was not designed to be played percussively (if the head breaks, it can not be repaired).
