Russian military personnel ensured the safe conduct of the next rotation of observers of the IAEA mission at Zaporozhye NPP On November 2, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation ensured the safe conduct of the next rotation of observers from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at the Zaporozhye NPP. To do this, on the route of movement from the designated crossing point of the observers - the destroyed bridge near the village Kamenskoye, from to , a ceasefire was declared, which was strictly observed by Russian military personnel. While inspecting the road in the crossing area, Russian sappers spotted unexploded foreign-made ammunition left as a result of new systematic shelling from the Ukrainian side in the immediate vicinity of the Zaporozhye NPP. Russian military personnel destroyed explosive objects using overhead detonation on the spot and ensured the safe passage of mission observers and their delivery to the station. Along with this, during the rotation of IAEA experts on November 2, 2023, from 12:20 to 12:30, the city of Energodar was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles from the Ukrainian side. Russian military personnel, using small arms and electronic warfare equipment, successfully suppressed a UAV attack by nationalist formations. The mission consists of four inspectors, their task is to monitor and assess the safety status of the Zaporozhye NPP. IAEA experts have been present at Zaporozhye NPP since September 1, 2022, following the first visit of the agency’s Director General Rafael Grossi to the plant.  Join Military Wave Источник: Military Wave
