M/S of the top of the lighthouse with the light revolving. “Vaporised oil provides the brilliant light.“ C/U of the lighthouse keeper holding two parts of the light mechanism. “And complicated highly polished lenses form the life-saving rays - “ C/U of the light giving device. The glass surround revolves making nice patterns. C/U of the light device as a canister is lifted up and down over the light. M/S of man tending to the light. He seems to be polishing the glass. Low angle of the surround turning. “Sentries of the coast - watchful of those who go down to the sea in ships.“ M/S of two keepers standing beside the revolving surround. Panning shot showing the men looking out to sea. “And below the cliff, the fisher-folk of Flamboro’ gather in the sea’s harvest.“ L/S of fishermen bringing in their catch. M/S of the fishermen beside their boats. L/S of the lighthouse.
