Standing Seam Metal Roof 138 -T vs. 238 -T metal roofing

In this video we compare and contrast a symmetrical standing seam metal roof called the T panel. This type of standing seam metal roofing comes in two versions the 138 T and the 238T. Both profiles of metal are 24 gauge, both are made via onsite roll forming, both use a clip system to install and both have Kynar paint. The major differences between the two types of standing seam is the application. We use the 138 T on residential and light commercial metal roofing jobs where as we use the 238 T on metal over metal roof overlays and on larger commercial roofing projects.
