🇲🇲🤝 🇷🇺The opening ceremony of the first Russian-Myanmar naval exercise was held in Myanmar Admiral Nikolay Yevmenov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, and Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, led the opening ceremony. ▫️ The ceremony was held in the city of Yangon. It was attended by the commanders and crew members of the Russian and Myanmar ships involved in the exercise. ▫️ Tactical briefings were held with sailors from both countries on forthcoming episodes of the naval phase and a communications exercise. Mutual visits to the ships participating in the exercise took place. The large anti-submarine ships Admiral Tributs and Admiral Panteleev conducted training exercises for the ship’s combat crews, watch officers, helmsmen, signalers and inspection teams.
