One of my favorite pieces from one of my favorite anime series by one of my favorite composers, Shirō Sagisu. This piece is perfect to express the loneliness of Rei II, her sorrow and her love. The soundtrack of Neon Genesis Evangelion is a collection of masterpieces and the series wouldn’t be what it is without this beautiful music. I’ve been listening to Mr. Sagiru’s music over and over again throughout the years ever since I first watched Evangelion. I’d like to thank him for creating something so close to my heart, music that helped me get through difficult times, gave me strength and hope. I want to make more Evangelion covers in the future, I was particularly inspired after the last movie (3.0 1.0) and its magnificent soundtrack. Stay tuned!
