Luke Griffin - Bring Me The Horizon: Shadow Moses (Death Metal/Deathcore Vocal Cover)

I always loved early Bring Me The Horizon, they were one of the first deathcore bands I heard back when they released the ’This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For’ EP in 2004 and through to the ’Count Your Blessings’ album in 2006. I kind of dropped off of them when they switched it up a bit, but got back into them when they dropped Sempiternal in 2013. I thought it would be a cool idea to create my own version of one of the newer Bring Me The Horizon tracks, but in a deathcore vocal style for fans of both their old and newer stuff. Shadow Moses jumped out as a good choice, being one the most well known off of Sempiternal and having a bit of a heavy vibe. I always add in some extra bits when I do my vocal covers, but this one kind of just went off on its own random tangent. I also tried stepping up the video quality a bit & throwing in a few angles compared to my usual vocal cover videos. Hope you all enjoy! I like to jump back and forth between switching up not so heavy tracks and covering songs that are already in the heavier genres, so I’ll drop an already-heavy cover of something soon for all those who don’t appreciate the reinventions of lighter tracks so much. Vocals mixed by the very epic Phil Pluskota of Sonic Assault Studios, hit him up for any production work - Big thanks to the Polish Deathcore Crew Facebook group for the tshirt!
