Dance Plus City | Šokis plius miestas | Cooperatives Union of Lithuania

ENG The evocative story of contemporary dance artist Petras Lisauskas is told in motion in the spaces of the Cooperatives Union, noteworthy for their bold colours. The architecture of the Cooperatives Union building interprets in its own way the Baroque spirit of the Old Town of Vilnius, with its graceful forms, which continue on into the building’s interior. The dark and rich colours of the interior create a feeling of well-grounded luxury, while the interior spaces are organically supplemented with works of art, including an impressive fresco, sculptures and stained glass. The headquarters of the Cooperatives Union of Lithuania was built in 1978 and its architect was Justinas Šeibokas.
