Here is part one of our latest series “Vintage Chops and Grooves“ starring everyone’s favourite vintage drum buff Sticky Wicket.
In this video Sticky begins the story of how music was recorded in those very early days, and how drummers played differently to cope with primitive recording techniques. He also gives a demonstration of his 1903 Edison Standard Phonograph and performs on some of his favourite vintage drums.
