With the help of modern radar equipment on board the complex, the crew easily detects airborne dynamic targets in its area of ​​responsibility and destroys them. The accuracy of combat use allows crews to destroy up to eight enemy air targets with one ammunition load. At the same time, the detection radar automatically blocks the possibility of hitting own aircraft. The station is capable of detecting aircraft-type targets at a distance of 25-27 km, flying at altitudes from 30 to 6000 m, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles at a distance of 9-15 km. At the same time, the complex is capable of detecting targets covered by active and passive interference. From the first day of the special military operation, the crews of the TOR-M1 air defence system provide air cover for ground forces, carrying out combat duty at the forefront, preserving the lives of personnel and the combat readiness of motorised rifle, tank and artillery divisions.
