Plot: Sankta Alina and The Starless Saint have existed in Ravkan mythology and faith as long as anyone can remember. Sol koroleva is revered and worshipped as Ravka’s saviour while The Darkling is someone Ravkans tell bedtime stories about to scare their children straight. What they don’t know, however, is that these saints maintain the balance in the world. Although the Starless Saint wants to corrupt Sankta Alina. She has spent her entire existence trying to stop him, loving him, having an unexplainable tether to him. When he tries to usurp the balance of power again, Alina vows to destroy the only thing that has ever kept him in check – their bond – and finally erase him from existence.
