Bhupinder Singh Ghazal || Meri Mano Yaro || Naqsh Lyallpuri

It might amaze people & raise a quite few eyebrows as well, knowing that earlier in his childhood, singer & musician Bhupinder hated music & musical instruments. Born in Amritsar, Punjab, Bhupinder is son of Prof Natha Singhji, who incidentaly was a trained vocalist and his early music teacher. Though his father, the professor was a strict teacher, which prompted Bhupinder to hate music at one point of time In his early days, Bhupinder was an artist in All India Radio. He was attached to the Delhi Doordarshan as well. He learnt guitar and violin. It was in 1962, music director Madan Mohan heard him at a dinner and called him to Bombay. He gave him a break to sing the song “Hoke Majboor Mujhe Usne Bulaya“ Hoga with Md. Rafi in Chetan Anand’s Haqeeqat. He was also given a solo by Khaiyyam in film Aakhri Khat.
