The Seeds are widely regarded as one of the best garage bands of the 60s and their song “Pushing Too Hard” has earned a reputation as a proto-punk classic. Despite the fact that the group never achieved the same kind of success as other bands from Los Angeles such as the Byrds or Buffalo Springfield, the Seeds were a big influence on groups from that scene such as the Doors.
