There are loads of reasons you might want to make art, and loads of reasons you might feel scared to start, so today, I wanted to share 5 tips on how to motivate yourself to make art or get yourself in the right mood for any creativity. You’re not always going to be in the mood to make art, you won’t always feel motivated, and you might even feel that you have art block. I know I don’t always have the energy to be creative, especially if I have to be. You might feel the same about a school project or GCSE sketchbook to fill, or something you promised to make for a family member or friend, or you’re working to improve your art and know that to do that, you need to practice, you need to paint more often and study, paint and draw things you might not want to to be able to better understand certain creative concepts. Whatever it is you’re meant to be doing and procrastinating on, I hope this video will help you break through the creative block and enjoy making art again. *This video is not sponsored.
