Kevin Fogg given a talk on “Indonesia’s Islamic Revolution and What It Can Teach Us“ Wednesday, March 26, Bartley 1011, 4-5:30 p.m. Dr. Kevin W. Fogg is the Al-Bukhari Fellow in the History of Islam in Southeast Asia at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and Islamic Centre Lecturer at the Faculty of History, University of Oxford. He completed his doctorate at Yale University, writing on the fate of Muslim nationalism in independent Indonesia. In addition to his current project on the Indonesian revolution, he has worked on the history of Indonesian revolution, Dr. Fogg has language reform and the development of Islamic groups based outside of Java.
