The Adams Sisters (1929-1931)

No titles. The Adams Sisters. Probably filmed in the Pathe Studio, London. M/S of the Adams Sisters - three attractive young girls wearing gorgeous 1920s frocks (satin bodices with tiered tulle skirts). They are two blondes and a brunette and sing a medium tempo love song which is probably called ’Underneath The Blue’. Very charming - excellent example of late 20s girl singers (as well as fashion, hairstyles and make-up). On the last note they all put their heads to one side - cute. Fade out. Fade in to M/S of one of the blonde Adams Sisters in a spotted blouse, sash and shorts, doing a fast tap dance on ballet points (piano accompaniment - unseen). C/U of her toes bashing away on the floor. She has a great 20s bob hairstyle. The number speeds up towards the end and the girl finishes up on one point - ta da! Note: film slips out of rack towards end of both turns. Note: item is out of synch throughout due to early sound recording. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLOR
