Djokovic a ‘free man’ after winning court battle

Sky News host Chris Smith says after eight hours at Melbourne airport, four nights in detention and a series of court hearings – Novak Djokovic is a free man, preparing to defend his Australian Open title. Mr Djokovic won his court battle against the Australian government after they cancelled his visa for entering the country without being vaccinated. The court has ordered the Australian Open champion be released immediately from his hotel detention and the Commonwealth will pay his legal costs.
