Opeth - In My Time of Need - Live TV4 Sweden 2003

Opeth, one of my favorite bands, released Damnation/Deliverance in 2003. This era of Opeth and band member line-up was and still is my favorite. Mikael Åkerfeldt’s haunting and chilling acoustic guitar passages followed up by absolutely amazing riffs and heavy guitar make this an amazing album. Great lyrics and overall songwriting throughout. Honestly, Opeth hasn’t made a bad album either before or after this release. Have you ever heard their earlier album Blackwater Park? Oh, you’re in for a treat. Check them out and listen to their catalogue. You won’t be disappointed. This recording was made in early 2003 on Swedish television station TV4. Their live DVD performance of this album released in 2004 is one of my all-time favorite performances. Check it out if you can.
