Arabic Grammar: Transitive and Intransitive Verbs _ Lesson 61

Arabic verbs are divided into 2 types: a transitive verb فِعْلٌ مُتَعَدّ__ an intransitive verb فِعْلٌ لازِم A transitive verb is the one that requires a direct object complement the meaning of the sentence as the message can not be finished without this element. On the other hand, an intransitive verb does not require any object for an efficient understanding of the sentence.
