Pascal Chove is a French contemporary artist born in 1960. “... At the beginning of his career, he worked primarily with wood panels because he did not like canvas, the artist considered it too soft and unsuitable material because of the possibility of accidentally scratching or staining the picture, the artist always wanted to break away from traditional canvas and replace it with a more predictable drawing surface. Pascal Chove has now discovered his genuine style: he paints as if he were constructing a structure.
