The sincere kindness of its people and vast beauties of its distinct landscapes, I feel, are the very essence of Chiang Rai Province. The little thing called “help“ seems to always be there when it is needed or even better, it sometimes comes as a surprise and unasked for, which certainly left a lasting impression on me. Simply, no matter how much more beautiful I could have made this film to be, it can never match the pure sincerity of the hearts I felt in those people. To me, that’s what truly defies the soul of their community, more than how much beauties our mother nature bestows upon their land. Overall, this film is about 500 hours of journey through all the landmarks of Chiang Rai Province (Phayao Province included), encapsulated into a 5 mins cinematography of pure beauty, from a perspective of one person.
