Former Derby Member of Parliament, Chris Williamson, criticised the Labour Party for facilitating Israel’s genocide in Gaza. When a BBC News correspondent asked him to refrain from calling Israel’s actions a genocide due to the potential to “offend” people, Williamson countered by pointing out that the International Court of Justice has recognised there is a plausible case of genocide occurring. He later addressed the interview on X (formerly known as Twitter,) stating, “Since when did we worry about ’offending’ génocidaires?
