Vulcano Volcano Update; Alert Level Raised for Italian Volcano, Evacuations Ordered

North of Sicily in Italy is an active volcano which just had its alert level raised from yellow to orange. The volcano in question is known as Vulcano, which actively has a plume of steam and gas rising from its edifice. Although Vulcano hasn’t erupted since 1890, the volcano does truly appear to be on the verge of a new eruption. Thus, evacuations have been ordered as the situation continues to unfold. So, does this raised alert status mean an eruption is going to occur tomorrow or later this week? What exactly does it imply? This video will answer these two questions, and discuss the status of this famous volcano.
