Sabo & Goldcap - Robot Heart - Free Burn 2021

When we got the call from the Robot Heart team asking if we were going to attend the Free Burn, and would we be able to DJ their 1st sunrise since 2019, we knew something special was about to take place. Both of us had performed solo sets on the bus many times in the past, but this was to be our 1st time playing as a duo. This special sunrise set is a dedication to the life of Robot Heart founder, Geo. We did our best to capture his inspiration, celebrate his contribution, and shine a light on his legacy. We had several discussions back and forth with RH members that knew Geo well, and with that knowledge, we prepared special songs and spoken word moments to honor his memory. Apart from that we did not plan out any of the set, and allowed the moment and energy to guide our selections and musical choices.
