Museo del Baile Flamenco Collaboration Clothing Sneak Peek: Voice of Flamenco

❤️Flamenco is an art that combines dance, singing, and guitar. Flamenco is freedom, with performance styles numbering in the dozens. Now, come with us to listen to the voice of Flamenco and learn about this art! On this day in 1992, at the opening ceremony of the Barcelona Olympics, the famous Spanish dancer Cristina Hoyos performed a wonderful Flamenco dance. This commemorative costume is now housed in Museo del Baile Flamenco. The design of this collaboration outfit is inspired by this costume. Based on the original design, the outfit is designed in the classic Flamenco bold red color, with a traditional comb “Peineta“ worn in the hair, and peonies used as decoration around the waist and behind the ears, following the tradition of Flamenco. The layered and blooming large skirt hem is specially cut to allow performers to fully display their charm and passion during the performance.
