Kiev unrest | Thousands of Ukrainian nationalist protesters clash with police

Clashes break out between supporters of the association ’Resistance to Surrender Movement’ and riot police during a demonstration around the Ukrainian President’s office in Kiev. The police estimated that there were around 2,000 people at the protest. The protesters demand the release of popular blogger Serhiy Sternenko who was convicted of kidnapping a newly elected council member and sentenced by a court in Odessa to 7 years in prison.
