Baby bat gets adopted by another mother bat.

Rocket and Maxine were rescued from an inner city light well. Maxine the mum bat was badly concussed and terribly skinny. She no longer had any milk and rejected her baby Rocket. Rocket was hand raised for a while then we attempted to reunite Maxine with her baby. She wasn’t interested. However, in the aviary, one of the mothers who had lost her baby while she was tangled in fruit tree netting, adopted little Rocket. So now they both have what they wanted. Awww!
