Now in Pennsylvania, USA! Flash floods sweep away cars and house in Berks County, PA Sunday storms across Central Pennsylvania have severely impacted multiple communities in Cumberland, Dauphin, and York. However, one area in Berks County, saw torrential downpours that inundated entire blocks. That rainfall in the area made for a deluge of fast-moving water that swept away anything in its path – including sheds, parts of sidewalks and even the foundations of homes. Pictures show floodwaters rushing down neighborhood streets, causing cars to be swept away by the water. The video was taken by Damian Hernandez near Mount Laurel Ave. in Reading. It wasn’t just Reading that was impacted by the flooding. Elsewhere in Berks County, the Antietam Creek spilled over its banks and onto Oley Line Road in Douglassville, just outside of Reading.
