Coronavirus outbreak: Indian police use the “coronahelmet“ to raise awareness during lockdown

An Indian traffic policeman has taken COVID-19 awareness to new levels by hitting the streets wearing a newly-devised red, spiky accessory: the ’coronahelmet’. Police in Tamil Nadu devised the headwear to raise awareness about the virus, using humour rather than violence, encouraging commuters to stay at home during the 21-day nationwide lockdown. India has so far reported 803 cases of coronavirus and 20 deaths.
