Tropical Storm Franklin hits the Dominican Republic! The capital is flooded!

On Wednesday, Tropical Storm Franklin hit the coast of the Dominican Republic, near Barahona. Tropical storm warnings are in effect in 32 provinces. 14 of them are marked in red, 10 in yellow and 8 in green. Storm Franklin brought strong winds and heavy rains. Up to 40 centimeters of rain fell in various parts of the country. Floods and landslides caused damage in several regions. The footage shows flooded streets, houses and cars. Suffered and the capital of the country - Santo Domingo. At least one person has been reported dead. Several people were injured and were hospitalized. More than 300 people were evacuated from their homes.
