Ingredients:
Rice: 2 cups
Maitake Mushrooms: 1/2 bunch
Pork Belly: 120g
Carrot: 1/2 piece
Water: 400ml
Seasonings: Soy Sauce (2 tbsp), Sake (1 tbsp), Mirin (1 tbsp)
A pinch of Salt
2 Green Onions, finely chopped
Simple Cooking Steps:
1, Rinse Rice: Start by washing 2 cups of rice.
2, Prep Ingredients: Tear maitake mushrooms, julienne carrots, and chop pork belly into pieces.
3, Mix & Cook: In your donabe or regular pot, combine rice, maitake, carrots, pork, water, and seasonings. Cook over high heat, then simmer.
4, Final Touch: Let the rice steam after cooking, then stir in green onions before serving.
