The History Of Electro Swing

The History of Electro Swing is a live VJ Show performed by DJR (The Electro-Swing Ball) and featuring Liberty Pink as compere and live vocalist. The show traces the history of the genre from it’s early records in the 1980’s, through the boom of swing revival and into the modern era. Featuring music from all of the most important bands and artists including Royal Crown Revue, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Chinese Man, Jurassic 5, Mr Scruff, Parov Stelar, G-Swing, Caravan Palace, Tape Five, Caro Emerald, Swing Republic and many more. The show concludes with a fast paced run through of all of the electro-swing sub genres, including swing-hop, chap-hop, gypsy & balkan, ghetto-swing, electro-blues, swing-house and swing&bass.
