Separate Studios Together (Damn Yankees - High Enough cover)

This week, we tackle a tune that apparently EVERYONE loves. High enough by the Damn Yankees. I haven’t met a single person who, when you mention this song, doesn’t say, “Oh my god, I love that song“. Such a powerhouse band. I’m sure we’ll try another one down the road. I did something a little different with this cover and asked my good friend, Steve Langley, to mix it for me. Steve mixed my first, and only single released from my solo album, project, debacle, perfectionist’s worst nightmare. He did an amazing job on both tunes. I went a little overboard for the solo, but I think it was required. I also had to insert part of the original video so folks didn’t think I just decided to put a smoke machine in front of my house and stand on the front porch and RAWK! Enjoy, see you next week!
