Israeli forces close in on Gaza City as calls for humanitarian pause go unheeded

More Americans are leaving Gaza as evacuations pick up tempo following complicated negotiations. Aid deliveries to the more than 2 million civilians in Gaza are still trickling in, but the need is far greater.
