A few years later, with a greater understanding of music, alongside playing guitar in a band, she had a proper crack at it. Being a London based selector has enabled her to really explore the nightlife and all the music that the city has to offer. In the past few years, MiNNA has been making waves in the scene and has recently began digging deeper into mixing with wax and expanding her musical knowledge further. Combining her joy and curiosity of music and dancing, she loves nothing more than creating a vibe on the dance floor and bringing people together through her choice of tunes. With her upbeat, effervescent energy, MiNNA fires up any dance floor. “When selecting tracks for this mix I wanted to spotlight sounds from the 90s and some of the producers that have influenced the music I play out today - some of which includes Kerri Chandler, Masters at Work and Grant Nelson. I also picked a vocal track by the legendary singer Barbara Tucker whose voice was so influential during that period and still is today. Focusing on Vocal and Garage House with some Gospel influences, from ’89 til today, theses records come from across the Atlantic, from different states in America and a few more close to home.
