Vulcano was a Dutch band put together in 1981 by Dutch producer Hans van Hemert. The line-up was: Jos Groothuizen, Dee Dee (pseudonym of Anna Dekkers), Suzanne Venneker and René van der Wel. Vulcano took part in the Dutch National Song Contest in 1983 and ended second with the song ’Een beetje van dit een beetje van dat’, (’A little bit of this, a little bit of that’). Despite the second place, this song became a big hit in the Netherlands. This success was followed by another hit with ’Als je haar maar goed zit’. In 1986 the band broke up, but reunited in 2005. .
