Establishing what already started with the ‘Futur Akustik’ release, Endlec’s sound is changing and evolving to something more minimal and loopy with a very strong fundamental groove but still keeping intact his distinct raw sound with significant style and class. A1 starts the record with boundless energy. Fast and obsessive with its ever-progressing arrangement and mechanical rhythms, ‘Ultra Reality’ is an ideal first introduction to what this EP is all about. Loopy to its core but physical and muscular enough to be a workhorse on the dance floor. ‘Restoration’ comes up next with mighty force. A mutant structure, a relentless groove, percussive layers and gritty drum patterns. Proper gymnastics mode. Flip the record and ‘Fortification’ kicks the sound system down with its impressive force. It holds nothing back. Moody and obscure with its metallic rides and 909 hi-hats on top of a high pressure groove that sounds best in dark basements. Classic techno music for the purists. ‘Existence’ closes the record with a showcase of where the future of the renegade master leads.
