Monaco returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 after they took a 25 year long break from the contest. Monaco’s last performance at the Eurovision Song Contest dates from 2006, when Séverine Ferrer failed to qualify with La Coco-Dance. Monaco had their best results in the earlier years of the contest and in 1971 they took their first and only victory.
