Kyiv residents in shock after Russian missile attack

#ceasefirenow #russianukrainianconflict #europeannews Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba posted footage purporting to show school children running to a shelter at the time of the attack. “This is a reminder that Ukraine urgently requires more air defense, particularly Patriot systems, and missiles capable of repelling any Russian attack,“ he wrote. The Kyiv attack came after almost a dozen people were wounded in a Russian drone strike on southern Ukraine overnight, and a fire broke out at a major Russian power plant following a Ukrainian drone attack. Russia staged its largest missile attack in weeks on Kyiv and the surrounding region on Thursday (March 21), injuring at least 17 people and damaging schools, residential buildings, and industrial facilities, officials said. The air force said its defenses shot down all the inbound missiles that were fired after a 44-day pause in such attacks on the Ukrainian capital. The damage appeared to have been caused by falling debris. A mother was seen hugging her young daughter outside the building, hit by a rocket fragment.
