Iceland volcano: Mesmerizing drone video shows lava bubbling to the surface

Smoke and lava poured forth Wednesday from the volcano that erupted near the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, after the region saw days of seismic activity. Drone video captured lava flows along the Fagradalsfjall mountain, the same location that saw another eruption last year which lasted for about six months. Tourists and residents have been told to avoid the area due to poisonous gases, however according to government agencies, there was no immediate risk of damage to critical infrastructure. The previous eruption became a travel and tourism phenomenon, with many people travelling to see the lave flows in person.
