Alex Weber - Malignancy - Separated Anxiety

Next up in the series of Malignancy videos I recently shot is Separated Anxiety from the Motivated By Hunger EP. The music on this EP is some of the hardest for me to play, not because of how difficult the riffs are but because of how elastic the time is. It’s one thing to just have to navigate complex riffs but it’s another thing to have to do that while the tempo is pushing and pulling. I love getting to play death metal that’s as stretchy as this! We’ve got two live steams coming up this month so be ready! The first one that comes out on the 8th is a “show“ we played with Teloch Vovin and Sickbay at Next Phase Sound Studio and the other, a live set professionally filmed and recorded at GB’s Juke Joint, comes out on the 21st.
