Capital Cities - “Kangaroo Court“ on JBTV

The LA pop duo known by the moniker Capital Cities played a live performance as guests at the JBTV studio. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Merchant and vocalist and keyboardist Sebu Simonian met on Craigslist 2008 when both of them at the time were jingle writers and they began working together to make a few singles and EPs. The song that really launched their careers was “Safe and Sound” which has been featured on a number of national commercials and has been a hit on the radio. After that song was heard by virtually everyone who has a TV, radio, or computer, Capital Cities continued their musical work to release their full length debut album In A Tidal Wave Of Mystery [Capitol] in 2013 that featured the song “Kangaroo Court”.
