Lithuania Warns Russia “Kaliningrad would be Neutralised First” As NATO-US Reject Troops For Ukraine

Lithuania’s ambassador to Sweden said Western countries will “neutralise” Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad if Moscow seriously endangers NATO’s security. Linas Linkevicius, who previously served as Lithuania’s defence and foreign minister, fired the warning shot in a post on X, formerly Twitter. In his post, Linkevicius warned that “if Russia dares to challenge NATO, Kaliningrad would be “neutralised first”. According to Linkevicius, the Baltic Sea has become an “internal NATO sea“ after Hungary approved Sweden’s accession.
